Arribe to Platja d'Aro by Plane

1. Airport Girona - Costa Brava
The airport of Girona is situated to 37 Km from Platja d'Aro, in the municipalities of Vilobí d'Onyar and Aiguaviva. The access to the airport is done from the roads N-II, AP-7 (Exit 8) and C-25, and there is not a direct Public Transportation Aeropuerto of Girona - Platja d'Aro (only July and August). Therefore we suggest four options to you:

• Itinerary 1 (blue option in the map)
  • Step one. From airport to Girona (bus station): by bus of Ryanair that it join the airport with Girona bus station.
    - Journey time: 25 minutes.
    - Timetable: from Girona, from 4:00 to 22:00 (every hour)
                       from the airport, from 4:30 to 0:30 (every hour)

  • Step two. From Girona bus station to Platja d'Aro bus station

• Itineraryi 2 (red option in the map)
  • Step one. From airport to Caldes de Malavella (train station de tren) by taxi.
    The taxis are situated in the official stop of the airport. They have taximeter to arrive to the different municipal terms of the province of Girona and of Barcelona.

• Step two. From the train station of Caldes de Malavella to Platja d'Aro bus station

• Transfer Airport Girona - Platja d'Aro
  Service of buses going and return (Girona Airport - Platja d'Aro). Service with the support of the Association of Hotels Campings Businessmen's Union and the Town hall of the Councillorship of Tourism. Service managed by the company Bravatur: www.bravatur.com

• Direct bus from the Airport Girona to Platja d'Aro (only July and August)
  - Journey time: 1 hour.
  - Timetable: from the airport, 20:00 (Monday to Friday)
                     from Platja D'aro, 05:45 and 06.45 (Monday to Friday)

2. Airport of Barcelona
The airport of Barcelona is situated to 37 Km from Platja d'Aro, in the municipalities of El Prat del Llobregat. There is not a direct Public Transportation Aeropuerto of Barcelona - Platja d'Aro. Therefore we suggest two options to you:

• Itinerary 1 (green option in the map)
  • From Barcelona ("Estación del Nord") to Platja d'Aro bus station de (direct).

• Itinerary 2 (blue option in the map)
  • Step one. From Barcelona to Caldes de Malavella (train station) by tren.
